Noise from the Signal is a moving image work made as part of the ‘extense’ collaboration with Dianne Burdon. It extends an ongoing research enquiry into the surround of the Hunterston A and B nuclear power plants on the coast of the Clyde coastline, understanding the site as emblematic and symptomatic of the exhaustion of a nuclear dream. Using moving and still imagery, along with audio re-presented from The Eternal Emissions of A Dying Star the recent companion radio broadcast ; Noise from the Signal gazes outward and inward, interesting itself both in the coloniality of nuclear histories and the material past, present, and futures of this site. 

A work in progress was screened recently at CinemaARC, Glasgow University.
