no end in sight

installation, 2025, 16 collective.

installation consisted of a series of copper plates with etched and corroded messages. these serve as notations for an accompanying sound piece, a conversation to prompt the act of pulling apart and putting back together.

the work is thinking about resonance as a material force and metaphorical device to consider formlessness and atmospheres of collective feeling, desire and interference.

to think through resonance is to realise nothing is bound to being bound; to exceed the frame of deterministic structures of representation; to exceed any linear temporal and spatial orders.
resonance means to resound, to sound again, echoing out forever, no end in sight.
